Description

Both the Northern Pintails and the Bahama Pintails are common aviary birds. They are suitable for a mixed collection are easy to keep and raise and are a good choice for the beginner. These birds can be first year fertile and often can be bred in trios (1 male 2 females). If kept on open water is it recommend that these birds be pinioned or at least kept wing clipped.  More detailed info on these two species can be found in the individual listings.
